Nearly one thousand volunteers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador provided pre-hospital assistance and support to senior citizens who went to the various voting centers nationwide.
From the early morning hours, the young rescuers set up first-aid posts at the schools designated for the thousands of Salvadorans to cast their ballots. Senior citizens and people with disabilities were assisted by the Comandos in reaching the ballot box where they were scheduled to vote, as part of a social and humanitarian service.
It is worth mentioning that some members of the Vote-Receiving Boards experienced blood pressure problems, so the emergency medical technicians from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador provided pre-hospital and outpatient assistance.
In the interior of the country, the 30 branches of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador deployed their personnel to provide coverage at the voting centers. They made a significant contribution to the population, who thanked them for the noble gesture of taking them in wheelchairs so they could cast their votes.
The Board of Directors and Executive Director of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador thanked each of the volunteers for their time spent helping Salvadorans during this electoral process for mayors and deputies to Parlacen.
