Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador and World Vision trained community members from Zacatecoluca on the use of water purification filters.

World Vision, together with Comandos de Salvamento, gave talks on the benefits of using water purifiers to remove contaminants from this vital liquid and thus prevent gastrointestinal illnesses.

These filters are intended for residents of the communities of Zacatecoluca, Sensuntepeque, Cabañas, and Bajo Lempa, in San Vicente, which were affected by Tropical Storm Sara.

In addition, representatives of the Communities received bags containing personal hygiene kits for adults and children.
