COMMANDS HONOR RESCUERS FOR THEIR SERVICE

The Board of Directors and Executive Directorate of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador honored the rescuers from the central base for their high level of service to the Salvadoran population while responding to emergencies.

Throughout the year, hundreds of young students and workers go to the central headquarters of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador to dedicate part of their time to responding to traffic accidents, vehicle and vertical rescues, as well as attending to any ailment.

In response, the Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, together with the executive directorate, held a luncheon to thank the young people for their strong spirit of service.

In addition to enjoying the sacred meal, there were raffles for baskets of food, bags, and other souvenirs donated by Pastor Toby Jr. of the central Tabernáculo Bíblico Bautista; CACTISUA de R.L.; Protección Civil Municipal de San Salvador Centro, Buffalo Wings, and Ayuda Popular Noruega, APN.

The rescuers also received safety footwear donated by General Safety, a company that carries out this initiative year after year so that volunteers can have suitable boots for their work.

The Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador thanked each sponsor and Ayuda Popular Noruega for its constant contribution, which made it possible to honor volunteers from the different branches in appreciation of their efforts.
