26 new rescuers.

Twenty-six young volunteers from Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador successfully completed the Vehicle Rescue course, where they demonstrated that they have the necessary skills to become part of this select group of rescuers.

Members of the various delegations of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador participated over several weekends, gathering at the “Yolanda Elizabeth Ramírez” Comandos School.

The training sessions began on Friday evening. In the early hours of Saturday, physical tests were conducted to strengthen their muscles, since the hydraulic equipment is heavy.

The training is made possible thanks to financing from Norwegian Popular Aid (APN), which for many decades has played an important role in ensuring that young emergency responders have all the knowledge necessary to provide excellent care during emergencies.

The Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador greatly thanked APN for its contribution, as well as the instructors who share their knowledge with the new members. “Thanks to Yony Ramos, the instructors and assistants who have successfully carried out this new vehicle rescue course,” stated Efraín Solís, treasurer of the Board of Directors.

Roberto Cruz congratulated the new members who, with great effort and sacrifice, reached a new milestone in their personal lives. “With tears, sweat and pain, they managed to overcome all the obstacles, and now they can say once again: we did it, Mr. Director.”
