Doctors of the Americas attend to patients in Comunidad La Galera, San Vicente.
More than two hundred people benefited this Friday from the arrival of Doctors of the Americas and Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador at Comunidad La Galera, in San Vicente, in the eastern part of the country.
Twenty-three health professionals who are members of the Doctors of the Americas organization, led by Dr. Andrew and Stephanie Badulak, arrived in the country just Thursday, accompanied by a new group of physicians, to continue providing assistance for the 21st year to communities with limited resources in the country.
Andrew and Stephanie Badulak traveled to El Salvador for the first time in 2003, together with their children Robert and Julya, organizing, with Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, a series of visits to communities near San Salvador.
Since that year, they have only been absent during the Pandemic; however, they made efforts and have continued providing assistance with their medical teams, made up of physicians from Virginia and the State of California, United States of the Americas.
Tomorrow, Saturday, the outreach clinic will move to Comunidad San Rafael, in Puerto de La Libertad.
It is worth mentioning that this new team of doctors includes physicians with extensive experience, who applied it in treating patients who required care in Comunidad La Galera.
