Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador and World Vision continue delivering water-purifying filters and hygiene kits for children in communities in the Puerto de La Libertad that were affected by Tropical Storm Sara.

Families in the El Jute Bocana and Chinama Norte communities received a water-purifying filter that will benefit the population’s health.

In addition, Comunidad Apolonio Morales was another place where residents received the filter and hygiene kits for minors.

Roberto Cruz, executive director of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador, thanked the World Vision organization for having placed its trust in them to carry out the distribution, as well as for providing residents with training on the handling and use of water-purifying filters.
