Having the spirit of a great woman within the ranks of Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador was something important, as Ana Campos dedicated her best years to serving others, always supporting activities and medical outreaches in the country’s various corners.
The wife of our Executive Director, Roberto Cruz, and a mother and grandmother with a great heart.
A woman with the great charisma that characterized her, as she was always ready to help whenever there was an emergency, providing her assistance in preparing food for all the volunteers who were attending the affected areas during earthquakes or disasters caused by rain.
Ana, as we Comandos called her, was known for being part of the lives of many of us who joined during our youth. She watched us grow, advised us, and guided us when we made mistakes; she was someone special.
A woman devoted to God’s work, she belonged to the “Friends of Israel” Baptist Biblical Tabernacle, where she served and loved going evangelizing alongside her daughter Marielos; they were always ready to accompany the evangelization ministries.
Now she leaves us; she has gone ahead to the heavenly abode and will live by the Lord’s side, as she had earned her place in the beautiful mansions and will walk along the streets of gold… Until always, Ana Campos.
