Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador assists two motorcyclists who collided while traveling along Bulevar Venezuela and 38th Avenida Sur in San Salvador.

Recklessness and disrespect for traffic signs are causes of road accidents in El Salvador. Responders from Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador assist approximately 10 motorcycle drivers per day in traffic accidents in the capital city alone.

The Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador branches in the country’s interior also respond to motorcycle accidents.

One of the road accidents occurs on the old highway to Santa Ana at kilometer 42, where the motorcycle driver suffers multiple traumas.

According to reports from the Traffic Division of the Policía Nacional Civil, more than 50 percent of traffic accidents involve motorcycle drivers who violate the traffic and land transportation law and who, in recent months, have caused the deaths of more than 358 motorcyclists and injured hundreds of people.

Therefore, Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador urges people to respect the rules and speed limits established by the new Traffic and Land Transportation Law.

Injured motorcyclist is treated by Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador.
