Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador responded this morning to two traffic accidents that have left several people injured at different locations across the country.

One of the serious accidents occurred at 5th Calle Oriente and Avenida Monseñor Romero in San Salvador, where two public transportation units, apparently disregarding traffic signs, collided, leaving passengers from both units injured.

Volunteers from Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador arrived at the scene of the traffic accident to assist the victims; 4 of them needed to be transported to a medical facility.

Meanwhile, 4 more people were treated at the accident scene after suffering nervous breakdowns and some minor trauma, so they were treated on an outpatient basis.

Elsewhere, on the Pan-American Highway near Empresa YKK, two people traveling in a pickup truck were injured in a traffic accident, with the passenger becoming trapped. Members of the Rescue Unit of Comandos de Salvamento of El Salvador therefore used hydraulic equipment to free her.

Members of the Vehicle Rescue Unit free the passenger, who was trapped in a traffic accident.
The woman was taken to a medical facility for trauma to her body.
