Vehicle extrication practices.

10 young rescuers from Comandos de Salvamento’s Ciudad Arce and Zapotitán sections were trained by the Cuerpo de Bomberos in vehicle rescue, joined by members of Municipal Protección Civil and Cruz Verde.

The rescuers received theoretical and practical classes thanks to the collaboration of the Municipal Government and private companies that contributed so the new rescuers could be trained.

The Pan-American Highway is one of the arteries where traffic accidents occur, leaving mourning and pain within Salvadoran families.

With these new rescuers, Comandos de Salvamento hopes to provide better assistance in road accidents where hydraulic equipment is required to free victims when they are trapped.

Comandos de Salvamento of Ciudad Arce extends its very special thanks to Municipal Mayor Noé Rivera, as well as to the companies Pettenati de Centro América, Holmatro Mastering Power, Metzger Safe Desicions and American Park Free Zone, for the support provided during the course and their availability in helping obtain crashed vehicles for practical exercises with hydraulic equipment.

Bomberos trained the volunteers.
