Donation helps with the preparation of food for the volunteers.

A supply of rice, beans, and corn flour was delivered this morning to the central base of Comandos de Salvamento by members of the Solórzano Family, who represent the Mall del Sol company.

Comandos de Salvamento, which maintains an alert status due to COVID-19 at its 29 branches, has requested food and biosecurity equipment donations from altruistic individuals and companies for its personnel, who are responding to traffic, workplace, and household accident emergencies.

At their branches, rescuers coordinate with the Municipal Protección Civil Committees to address prevention and provide guidance to avoid coronavirus infection.

In Nejapa, Comandos de Salvamento volunteers met with the Municipal Protección Commission to coordinate verification of the access closures carried out by residents of some communities.

They are also disinfecting every vehicle entering the municipality at the entrance to the area to prevent infections.

Comandos de Salvamento of Nejapa thanks the Mayor for donating biosecurity equipment for the volunteers, as well as for providing assistance to purchase shock absorbers for the ambulance serving the municipality.

Rice, beans, and other items were donated by Mall del Sol.
