The General Pastor of Tabernáculo Bíblico Bautista “Amigos de Israel” Central, Dr. Edgar López Bertrand Jr., donated food for the volunteers of Comandos de Salvamento who are providing assistance at the various emergency posts set up on the country’s highways and beaches.

The young volunteers leave their families behind so they can assist vacationers enjoying the beaches and tourist centers, dedicating their valuable time to Comandos de Salvamento. Today, thanks to Tabernáculo Bíblico Bautista “Amigos de Israel” Central, food has been provided for these great anonymous heroes.

Comandos de Salvamento is making efforts to meet the demand for emergencies, which increases during the Semana Santa season, since so far 14 people have been counted among the dead during the first days of the vacation period.
