Comando Veteran Roberto Pacheco and other EMS colleagues prepare for Mondays rescues and recoveries. Six bodies were recovered, three adults and three children. Dozens of Comando volunteers are currently helping victims throughout the country.

EMS crews from Comandos de Salvamento in collaboration with the Salvadoran Air Force started evacuation people affected by the flooding rains of Hurricane Ida. Thousands of people in El Salvador live in zones of high risk when seasonal rains and hurricanes hit. Currently there are around 91 deaths so far throughout the country.
The Tropical StormIda, according to Proteción Civil has caused numerous deaths, displacement, and disapeared. Shelters for the homeless are already saturated with the stranded.

The Salvadoran Civil Protection Agency reports that flooding caused by Hurricane Ida rains has caused the death of at least 54 persons. More information aqui.
