Our EMS crews work around the clock attending to emergencies and search/rescue. They are always ready to serve their fellow man and follow through with the mission of CDS as established by our volunteer rules.
CDS attends to a youth that was ran over along Ave. Alemeda Juan Pablo II, as seen in the image above, there is a “pasarela”, a walking bridge to use instead of crossing the ever busy traffic road. CDS advises all to please use the “pasarelas”.
Juan Chavez, delegate of CDS Juayua, participates in the discussion between the different branch delegates of CDS in the eastern part of the country in order to discuss future plans on improving the quality and work of Comandos de Salvamento. The board has implemented meetings with other delegates in order to improve communications and future projects of the institution.
CDS branch delegates from the west side of the country participate in a meeting with the governing board in order to plan and exchange ideas on how to improve CDS throughout the country for the benefit of the community it serves.

There are also cars trapped in the floods at 5ª Ave. north with people inside as of 6:15PM.
At least 38 families were evacuated in the early hours of Monday morning due to the strong rains that pounded the capital since Sunday night. 35 families in the neighborhoods of Elisa and Mejicanos were transported to the youth community home in this municipal to offer safety and shelter.
CDS recently helped families relocate from the Apopa community San Francisco, and also the smaller neighborhoods of Elisa and Las Mercedes in Mejicanos.
