A CDS EMS crew offers first aid to a bullet wound patient that resulted from a gunfight-“Balacera” north of San Salvador in Apopa.  The patient presented with three bullet wounds in various areas. Another person also was shot when unknown assailants attacked him. The patient was immediately transported to the closest ER with vitals being monitored.

Six people resulted injured from bullet wounds this Thursday afternoon October 1st. CDS transported three of the victims to Rosales Hospital in San Salvador.At the hospital, a doctor eported that this afternoon violence came from San Martin, north of the capitol. Earlier, another three bullet would patients were transported and one died at the ER upon arrival.

MVA: PEDESTRIAN PATIENT

A man of about 45 years of age was ran over by a #21 route transit bus along the Juan Pablo II street and 14th Ave. N. in San Salvador on Sept 18th, 2009.  The patient presented gravely injured, unconscious and was transported to Rosales Hospital.  The driver was detained by the police due to the patient ambulating in a secure pedestrian zone.

BUS ACCIDENT AND DOWNED POWERLINES

Comandos de Salvamento help a woman who was injured during an accident in the Colonia Flor Blanca in San Salvador.  The crash caused high voltage powerlines to fall.  The Comandos stopped pedestrian traffic due to dangerous live wires and cables.
