AFather and Son passed away in an MVA along the Panamerican Highway above San Pedro Perulapán
Socorristas de Comandos de Salvamento, atienden accidente de tránsito que se registró esta mañana sobre la Carretera Panamericana a la altura del kilómetro 26 en las cercanías de San Pedro Perulapán, en el Departamento de Cuscatlán.
EMS from CDS attended an MVA along the Panamerican Highway at KM 26 near San Pedro Perulapan. A car with plates 549-265 was driven by 28 year old Francis Rigoberto Quezada when he lost control and crashed into the base of a tree. He and his year and a half old son Sebastian Alexander Torres, passed away while at the Cojutepeque national hospital due to traumatic injuries sustained.
The Comandos de Salvamento Urban rescue squad arrived along with national firefighters to recover and extricate Francis who was legally identified by medicina legal forensics present.

CDS responded to a 6 patient MVA , and packaged and transported the patients to higher level of care. Injuries were various and complicated but all were stable. They were transported to Hospital Rosales.

Another accident involved an extrication of a female and Jaws of Life was utilized.

2 people were injured during an MVA that took place along the highway to the international airport at the overpass of Santo Tomas. EMS providers intervened to assist the injured and transported them to local hospitals after rescuing them from their car that had fallen over a small embankment.
The injured reported, “imperfect mechanical problems,” as the cause of the accident.
