The transport of intoxicated patients is a common duty that CDS does to offer support to patients and families. Family members and friends of these types of patients should accompany their loved ones to the psychiatric hospital with CDS. On many occasions, patients can turn violent due to drugs and alcohol consumed and it helps to have family members and friends there to assist EMS staff.

Executive Director of CDS Roberto Cruz, and president of the governing board, Wilmer Lobo, hands the keys of a new ambulance to the delegate workers of our Sensuntepeque base Adrian García and Ivan Galdámez. This is for the new base that they founded in the department of Cabañas which is located in the northern part of El Salvador. The ambulance was donated by people of Albuquerque, New Mexico who each year send EMS vehicles to the CDS association for emergencies and rescues. For more information on our newest base in Sensuntepeque, Cabañas see here.
