DOA UPON IMPACT WITH TREE

CDS first responders battled for several minutes to try to save the life of a young driver who apparently lost control of his car and crashed into a tree located on the edge of the Pan-American Highway, at the height from El Congo.

For several minutes the victim remained trapped between the twisted iron of the car, however, upon the arrival of the rescuers, the vital signs of the person were very weak, despite the effort made to free him, the young man lost the battle.

Our Extrication team concluded their work and minutes later the body of the young driver was released and handed over to the police authorities for recognition by forensics

Comandos de Salvamento helps rescue the injured patient.

Comandos de Salvamento’s High Angle rescue team helped rescue a female near la zona del Ingenio El Ángel de Apopa after she had lost her balance on an iron bridge and fell. CDS collaborated with the Red Cross in offering the patient not only first aid, but emotional support due to injuries sustained.

The rescue took approximately 40 minutes to help 48yo Marisol Santos Fuentes Reyes, who suffered a compound leg fracture. The patient was secured and transported to higher level of care at Rosales Hospital.

MCI MVA with 2 DOA

CDS responded to an Mass Casualty Incident MVA that involved a bus and a car along KM 28 along the Pan-american Highway where a female and minor were DOA and others with multiple injuries. The incident took place near Santa Cruz Michapa in  Cuscatlán.

CDS did what they could to secure, triage and securely package the injured and supported forensics in identifying the deceased.
