The EMS school of CDS has started teaching basic first aid to first year students of the Japan school located in Mejicanos city of San Salvador. Each student will be learning didactic theories of being a first responder and learn how to stabilize fractures, choking, and CPR among other themes. Ambulance ride alongs will also be included to get a first hand view of EMS in San Salvador.
CDS has a mission to educate local schools about basic first aid in case they have to provide it in their school and or communities.

CDS responded to support 2 injured San Salvador city officers,(Cuerpo de Agentes Metropolitanos) and some 6 street sellers in the first possible of more street unrest that took place this Friday morning in Santa Tecla.
The CAM agents were transported to the Social Security health center in Santa Tecla while the sellers were offered first aid due to being affected by tear gas.
Three CDS ambulances and EMS personnel will continue on scene to monitor the situation and respond to any further altercations between the two parties.
