**Comandos de Salvamento evacuate 20 people due to flooding.**

Comandos de Salvamento y Policía Nacional Civil of Tepecoyo, La Libertad, evacuated more than 20 people from Cantón Los Alpes, Asentamiento EL Refugio due to heavy rains that have hit the area over the last couple of hours due to the tropical storms that have come up from Nicaragua. The elderly, women and children were taken to a makeshift shelter at the Tepecoyo school which local authorities had set up.

The National Emergency system contacted CDS volunteers and outlying bases to be on standby over the next few days.

WINDS DAMAGE HOMES IN ALEGRÍA USULUTÁN

Comandos de Salvamento of Alegría, were alerted about the high that caused damage to many houses in Barrio El Calvario and Caserío Potrerío, Cantón Quebracho, de Alegría, Departamento of Usulután

Fallen trees also block the highway from Alegria to Berlin and other neighborhood access roads. Comandos collaborated with Civil Municipal Protection teams to assist the public.

Comandos de Salvamento helps rescue the injured patient.

Comandos de Salvamento’s High Angle rescue team helped rescue a female near la zona del Ingenio El Ángel de Apopa after she had lost her balance on an iron bridge and fell. CDS collaborated with the Red Cross in offering the patient not only first aid, but emotional support due to injuries sustained.

The rescue took approximately 40 minutes to help 48yo Marisol Santos Fuentes Reyes, who suffered a compound leg fracture. The patient was secured and transported to higher level of care at Rosales Hospital.

Primer convivio de jóvenes socorristas de Comandos de Salvamento de El Salvador.

Authorities of the new Board of Directors of Comandos de Salvamento El Salvador, held the first gathering for the young rescuers as a form of gratitude despite the pandemic that the country is facing.

The young volunteers from Ciudad Arce, Tepecoyo, El Congo, Zapotitán, Santa Ana and Quezaltepeque, came together to share a time of healthy recreation and in this way thank all the effort they make to cover emergencies at the national level.

CDS also thanked the companies and entities such as Pettenati, Topao, ODESSA, Muebles Encima and the City Hall of Ciudad Arce, for the support they provided so that this gathering would take place.

In addition, to Mr. Smelin Portillo and a Funeral Home, because in this way some prizes were awarded to the lifeguards, who others enjoyed sporting events and swimming in the recreational center where said gathering took place.

Rescue Commands presented plaques of recognition to the Pettenati company, American Park, Termos del Río and the Mayor of Ciudad Arce, Francisco Morán, for the contribution made during the emergency of the pandemic and the strengthening of the young rescuers.
